Random thoughts on Indian elections

POLITICS. .

Once in every five years the people of India enjoy an all India festival and that is the elections. These elections have become a thamasha or us because we know our candidates and we also know that they will not do any thing for us. The people of India are a highly polarized group, the educated minority do not vote, and the uneducated majority vote not for good governance but for freebies like free tv sets and whatever the government gives them free of cost.

Nobody is bothered about good governance and making India a stronger nation militarily and economically. Even the senior most politicians follow a follow a policy of blaming others. They believe in postponing problems eternally because they know that the public tend to forget the problem, and when the problem becomes serious they blame it on a foreign hand that is bend on destabilizing India.

America elected Obama as they believe in change, but here we do not believe in any thing. We want some one to occupy the seat. Youngsters are willing to occupy the seat as they are highly selfish and self centered and so seat automatically goes to grand old men like the present P.M and his ilk. These people cling to their seats at any cost and cloak their cowardice with sagacity. The great Indian thamasa is about to begin.
