Moammar Gadaffi, Ghadafi, Qadafi or however you want to spell his last name, is just getting more and more outrageous. He's spent the past few days in Italy on an Islam-recruiting fishing expedition, and just for attractive, female model-types, mind you. Of course, anyone trying to do the same thing in say Libya, or Saudi Arabia or Pakistan or Iran or Afghanistan (the list goes on) would never leave those countries alive, but that's beside the point. He also stated that the whole of Europe should convert to Islam. Well, I posit this, Europe and the West will convert to Islam when Middle-Eastern and other Muslim majority countries convert to Christianity, or Hinduism, Buddhism or Judaism. How's that? And you can take your pick.
Furthermore, this lunatic is also a major racist. His latest ramblings are, frankly, extremely offensive. Every Black African should be equally outraged by his latest statement.
The European Union must pay 5 billion dollars annually to stem the tide of illegal immigrants departing from Libya's shores - otherwise Europe could be become an African outpost, Libyan leader Muammar Gadaffi has claimed.Gadaffi made the provocative remarks during a two-day visit to the Italian capital, Rome to mark the second anniversary of a controversial bilateral 'friendship' pact.
"Libya, with Italy's support, asks the EU to provide at least 5 billion dollars a year to stop illegal immigration, otherwise Europe could one day become part of Africa - it could become black, because millions want to come here," Gadaffi said.
He made the remarks during a speech at a gala dinner in Rome late on Monday hosted by Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi and attended by 800 people.
Guests at the 'iftar' feast to break the Ramadan fast included several cabinet ministers and the heads of Italy's main business association Confindustria, its largest defence and aerospace company Finmeccanica and energy giant ENI.
"Libya is a gateway for illegal immigration and so we need to work together to combat this phenomenon," Gadaffi added.
Uh, maybe he needs to look to his own race first before he starts casting stones.
He's already getting five billion dollars from Italy as restitution for Italy's colonial rule over Libya from 1911-1943. Now he wants to pocket five billion a year from the year to prevent "Black" illegal immigration? Why not just illegal immigration? That I could understand. Besides, Europe is more likely to become Eurabia before it becomes another Africa.
Who knows what other asinine remarks Qadafi, Ghadafi or Gaddafi will make, not that he's so buddy, buddy with Italy. I shudder to think.
