Rabat hosts Al-Quds International Forum
Morocco is hosting Al-Quds International Forum today in its capital city Rabat. This meeting is expected to discuss the political and legal aspects of the conflict between Palestinian residents and the Israeli force as well as the future of the peace process in the city.

The Palestinian President said, before his departure to Morocco, Palestinian people are "profoundly grateful" to Morocco for its continued interest in the Palestinian cause, an issue that enjoys unanimity among all the components of the Moroccan society.
The Palestinian president added that he will inform H.M. King Mohammed VI of the present situation, particularly in Al-Quds, to which the Sovereign attaches "great importance" in his capacity as chairman of the Al-Quds Committee.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Hossam Zaki told reporters yesterday that Egypt's participation in the forum comes at a sensitive time in light of tensions taking place in Al-Quds. He added that the participation of Egyptian Foreign Minister in the forum is a significant indication of importance of the issue, as the conference will also be attended by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas
The forum is organized by Yasser Arafat Foundation and Beit al-Maqdes Agency under patronage of the Moroccan King, chairman of Al-Quds Committee.
