NRIs abroad; emerging new security threat to India
PROBLEM FACING BY PRAVASI INDIANS (NRIs) IN ABROAD AND
AVOIDABLE SECURITY RISK OF INDIA
People from India used to go to Gulf (Middle east) for employment. But due to exploitation, corruption in recruitment, most of the time sponsored not give the promised employment and their passport and other valid documents kept in the custody of sponsorers. There is gross human right violation from the employers side by deny payment, put to starvation, beating and humiliation and the treatment is endless like a bonded slave.

Indian embassy is not interested in solving the problem of Indian people and they accuse with siding with the sponsorers of that country. Many a times access is denied to embassy officials or kin or friends. This is the beginning of the problem for India.
The anti social elements started promising them better jobs, and good life and promises money and other kinds to get their agenda. Many people influenced to anti-India activities and get trained from Pakistan and even from middle-east itself by using them as a courier in smuggling, counterfeit currency, jihadi and other illegal activities.
Indian/ state government cannot run away from its duties and responsibilities and their constant neglection led to take such a drastic steps by knowingly and unknowingly engaging themselves in such nefarious activities.
Now it is the time to act by restructuring entire mechanism in Indian embassies and welfare of NRIs abroad. Their grievance needs to be redressed as quickly as possible and there should be permanent mechanism of different platforms to organize, air and redress their grievance in the interest of India and people at large.
Government of India should actively engage with the middle east countries and have a joint mechanism to solve various problems facing by Indians at abroad. Government must also take aggressive stand against those countries which are not willing to co-operate and need to take drastic step by not sending Indian employees to their countries and cut other bilateral relations considering various problems facing by India. It will be a great advantage for India than the countries who are not co-operating with India. It is naturally there should be a temporary setback, but it will be rewarding on the long run.
It is the time to focus and review both internal and external security aspects and govt. should take special attention on Middle East countries if the govt. is serious in solving both our Labour problem as well as security threat.
