Nuclear Cold War?
I wonder why japan is isolated from rest of the world because of this nuclear crisis. Why no one, including the UN or US is not lending a solution to avert the nuclear crisis? Is this the way the world is prepared to face the nuclear crisis? Today it happened in japan, tomorrow it may happen in any other part of the world.
Nuclear Cold War?
Is there a "nuclear cold war" between japan and US? I sense so, because as we all read, initially U.S said they are supplying coolant to Japan, but later they corrected saying it was just a preliminary talk, and Japan agreed to "handle the situation on its own."
Japan, the country known for their perseverance, may be feeling embarrassed to take military help from U.S.to avert the nuclear crisis. The wounds of the atom bomb are still not healed in Japan. but I feel U.S., along with other nations, should do their best immediately to stop this nuclear tension and save the innocent Japanese. Perhaps, this is a divine opportunity for America to correct the mistake it did in 1945.
Why is the world building nuclear plants if they are not prepared to face the tragedy? Forget about nuclear bombs-- we are not even able to control the "controlled reactors" as we see now in Japan.
Footnote: A few days ago, I read that India is finding it difficult to test the food from japan because the country does not have enough radiation testers. Still our PM and ministers insist India is prepared to face the nuclear tragedy!
Oh God, please save the humanity.
