Possible war between India and Pakistan risky to ozone layer

If Pakistan and India will wage a nuclear war against each other, the world will be at great risk since the ozone layer will be severely damaged. Its effects will be as hot as the scorching heat of the sun entering the atmosphere with ultraviolet radiation posing threats to the health of mankind.

What happens next are the pandemic diseases caused by exposure to too much sunlight, drying up of the lands in the form of El Niño, people worldwide looking for sources of fresh water and absence of natural resources.

Others might think this is the end of the world as the dying population will be in millions and cure for the new diseases that will be found would take long years of research before it can be perfected.

Researches have the results that too much exposure to ultraviolet radiation causes skin cancer, damage to the eyes, drying up of lands and crops and injury to animals living in farmlands or forests. As drought prevails in most affected regions, scarcity of resources globally become apparent.

I’m really hoping and praying that India and Pakistan will think a hundred times before they will go for nuclear war. Since both belong to the 50 countries that have the capacity to stage a Hiroshima-style bombing, I wish that whatever conflicts they have now can be discussed in diplomatic forums.

The world has to many problems to settle and we should find solutions instead of complicating things. The next generation has already many baggages to carry with them. So let us not add fuel to the fire of thinking wars that may occur among countries. Rather, we should find solutions and ways to improve the quality of life of millions of distressed people in the different parts of the world.
