Over-exposure of Stomach Indent

It seems nowadays the small indent in the stomach is gaining popularity and basking in glory with much media attention and focus, more so in the glamour and sports industries and even more in the South Indian films where it has been exploited to the hilt. The phrase 'Ring in the New and Ring out the Old' can be rightly and aptly applied here with navel replacing the part three to four inches above it as the new symbol of sexuality.

The 'pit' seems to be enjoying and receiving much attention from the adworld, cineworld, fashion and sports field with more or less coverage on it. It has also been honoured with studded diamonds, rings and henna designs in and around it. Above all, it has also managed to attract the law with a case registered on it simply because the camera captured it through a wet sari worn by a popular actress. Such is the craze and charm of this umbilicus.

After the undue praise showered on this naughty 'hole', I condemn it's excessive & sometimes even raunchy display on the print and other mediums which would only corrupt the minds of the young people and also pollute the thinking of the generation next for whom the 'indent' has been promoted and projected as a symbol of sexuality. It is high time now that undue coverage of this sometimes erogenous umbilicus is stopped and not highly promoted so that the thinking of young minds are not polluted by its display.
