Ricky Nolasco pitched eight effective innings, and Cody Ross homered to lift the Florida Marlins to a 3-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.

Nolasco (8-4) struck out nine and gave up one run and six hits for the Marlins, who have beaten the Diamondbacks all four times this season.
