Freshman Caroline Doty scored 11 points and extended her school-record streak of made 3-pointers to 10 to lead top-ranked Connecticut to a 96-37 win over Holy Cross, its fifth straight game scoring at least 90 points.
Doty hit all three of her attempts from behind the arc. She made six in a row in Sunday’s 106-78 win over No. 6 Oklahoma. The national record is 14 straight, set by Portland’s Deanna Lansing in 1996.
Doty was one of six Huskies in double figures. Tahirah Williams, went 7-of-8 from the field and scored a career-high 17 to lead Connecticut. Tina Charles, Renee Montgomery and Maya Moore each had 13. Kaili McLaren added 10.
Moore played a career-low 12 minutes, and no starter played more than 20.
Briana McFadden, who scored her first points with 9:24 left, led Holy Cross (1-6) with 10.
