A judge has ordered Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick to again wear an electronic tether, hours after another judge said he could take it off.
The judge signed the order after a brief hearing Thursday, ordering him to put the tether back on as part of his bond in an assault case.
Earlier Thursday, in a separate perjury case, a different judge told Kilpatrick he could get rid of the tether and attend the Democratic National Convention. County prosecutors plan to appeal.
Kilpatrick faces 10 felony charges in two criminal cases.
