POLITICS. .

I am back from the peace march from Taj / Gateway of India. Have to thank Hemant, Geeta & Deepak as without them I would not have joined the march.

The crowd was a revelation, I think for the first time in history so many people had turned up for a rally without being paid in cash or kind. The kind People we are used to meeting in offices or in social events, one looked around and every one looked like they could have been friends.

The mood was clear we will tolerate no more and we are united.

Every one was shaking hands with the NSG commandos standing around I guess more as PR exercise and to reassure the population in general, while the Mumbai Police looked on. When we realized this we, my friends went back and thanked the Mumbai Police too, we can't forget that they were most under prepared and under equipped but faced the terrorists as if not more bravely.

The crowed was far more than I had anticipated, I thought we will be about 2000 to 5000, I cant estimate correctly but I am sure were more than 100,000/-

I was not surprised when we came across a group of persons distributing drinking water, no names of the sponsors, no slow guns just offering sealed water glasses to all they could reach, however cliched it may but that is spirit of Mumbai, not the crowded trains and every one turning up to office. the first act was totally optional while the later are born out of fact that there is no option.

SHAME ON ZICOM for trying to use the solemn occasion to advertise their products by putting placards with their logos. That also is part of Mumbai spirit, just concentrate on business without bothering for sentiments of any one else.

Initially I had thought jut turning up for the rally will be a waste, but now I feel better I went and was part of the crowed pledging their support for the change.

We are one and will remain one, We will never break, the time has come back to fight back.

WE have read emotional, heart wrenching, passionate, angry stories and posts.

Now the time is to systematically examine the options, short list the actionable items however small to initiate the change we all seek. It's time to stop talk and ACT.

If you have any ideas do get in touch, we are about to form a group who will dedicate their time and Grey cells.

LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN
