As per the ANI the terrorists are demanding freedom for all the Islamic Militants who have been detained in India. One of the gunman told a TV channel on phone that they belonged to a terrorist outfit Deccan Mujhahedeen. He is holed up in hotel Trident.
As per him they love India as their own country but when their mothers and sisters were being killed where was everybody?
The latest toll is 101 killed and over 287 injured some of them critically. As per A N Roy the Commissioner of Police Mumbai, Taj Hotel is freed from terrorists and operations are going on in Nariman Point and Hotel Trident.
He categorically stated that no negotiations were going on with the terrorists and they are assisted by NSG and other army personnel in this operation. They were trying to overpower the terrorists.
As per ANI the terrorists have taken British and and US citizens especially as hostages and few foreign correspondents are also in the injured group.
Shane Warne had a lucky escape as he was to face a press conference in Taj today at 12 o'clock. He is, at present, in Singapore. There are talks of making a All Party Committee to discuss the terrorist issue.
