Mother's nightmare as 3 year girl develops breasts

How can a three year old baby girl have boobs? I was shocked when I came across a photo of a 3 year old girl with fully formed breasts. What is shocking is that this is the aftermath of the contraceptives that her mother was using.

Kenyan women have turned to the so called herbal Chinese contraceptives whose effects are such, that this innocent girl is going through.

If the government does not step in and control the wave of the herbal medicines, more damage is bound to happen.

Unscrupulous people purporting to sell herbal medicinal products which are unauthorized and unregistered conventional medicines through 'Herbal/Chinese clinics' are all over in the country and their target is women.

It is shocking if revelations by the health ministry that their dose is 40 times more than the required one whereas they categorically indicate that they have no side effects since they are herbal, in some cases the consumers are denied the right of reading the instructions since most of them are written in Chinese.

This is in contravention of the Law, Cap 24, Laws of Kenya.

This product is sold as herbal/Chinese contraceptives to women of child bearing age and has not been registered by any medical board.

The drugs pose serious medical complications to mother and child while breast-feeding as it contains very high levels of Levonorgestrel and Quinestrol, which are conventional pharmaceutical products.

Some of the complications that are being experienced by the children who are less than three years of age are; early enhancement of breasts and uterus, swelling in legs, pain in muscles, difficulty in walking and speech impairment.

Mothers on the other hand complain of feeling pregnant all the time, pain in the feet during walking and working and other life threatening complications.
