One of the most disadvantages and advantage of staying in a democratic world is everybody can raise their voice. A person like Raj Thackeray openly takes on the charge of laughing at Indian constitution...let’s go down memory lane and re-capitulate a couple of incidents.
1. 2008 MNS Sena beat up north Indian candidates who came to appear for a railway recruitment board exam.
2. 2008 numerous incidents reported of attacks on non Maharashtrian owned shops and damage down by MNS activists.
3. 2008 IT giant Infosys had to shift almost 3000 employees to Pune because of disruptions caused by MNS activists.
4. Recently 2009 oath taking ceremony in Maharashtra parliament MNS activists almost ransacked the whole institution because Abu Azmi took an oath in Indian national language other than Marathi.
What was the consequences of these incidents arrests being made, lots of them but accused are all released within a night. Raj Thackeray almost dictates terms in Maharashtra the question is how; there is a political imbalance in Maharashtra which is in the favour of MNS…that’s where they rule the roost.
Raj Thackeray as a politician: a person with very clear point of view, he exactly knows what he wants and he is on his way in achieving that, always has a mass following him that’s something needs to be applauded, he has his own vision that’s good but in a modern civilized democratic front one has to voice his opinion in a civilized way that’s where he is lacking.
What do we know about Naxals and Maoists? They are branded as terrorists, now the questions arises for what, just because they don’t belong to a political party and trying to voice their opinion in the same way as MNS, then why is it there is a big national agenda against all kinds of terrorist groups who has a crystal clear agenda and nothing been done against our own son of soil Raj Thackeray's MNS…if things go like this for another couple of years, that day will not be away when we have to deal with another KASHMIR on the western part of India.
