AJYCP who have already demanded many times over the same issue of influx in the state, today announced that Government has become a total failure in assuring the stop of influx of Bangladeshis into the region. "They (Bangladeshis) come easily with the rotten and open fencing of the Indo- Bangla border for job and shelter and now they have become the vote bank for the present Government who is only dis-obeying the Assam Accord", said Monoj Baruah, Presdient of AJYCP, Guwahati. He also alleged that there is a high infiltration rate of the this influx everyday, and which is known to the administration and it seems that the system is helping them, they come in hundreds everyday and never goes back".

Since many other organisations also lead the issue to the Government many times, AJYCP claimed that the Congress lead government is a mere rescue operator of these Bangladeshis. "Many of us has demanded to rise the issue but the Govt. is putting a deaf ear to it for its personal and political gains, its a shame for the identity of the state," stated Dilip Patgiri, advisor of AJYCP."The govt. should take stern action against it and seal the border immediately", he added.

The AJYCP claimed that nearly a million Bangladeshis are present in today's date in the state who have no job card neither any legal documents but who are being used in the elections only as a vote bank."Though the bike rally in the entire Assam, we again asking the government to open their eyes and see the truth that these infiltration is killing the local employment and making the terrorism higher. These Bangladeshis and illegal migrants bringing the Fundamentalism to the region and increasing the militancy rates, and it has been proven manytimes in the various inidents and many arrest. So we want the authority to deport them with immediate identification process enable in the state or to face the anger of the students in short",warned Baruah .
