Mexican Cartel Stitches Rival's Face and Scalp onto Soccer Ball
A plastic bag containing a human face and scalp hand stitched onto a soccer ball was discovered near the Los Mochis, Sinaloa City Hall.

In similar findings, the remains of a dismemebered body were found in two areas of Los Mochis. A man's torso was found in a plastic container in one location; elsewhere another box contained a man's arms, legs and faceless skull.
With the discovery of these latest human parts in addition to the inital macabre finding, the identity of the mutilated body which proved to be of 36 year old Hugo Misael Hernández Ramírez, was complete.
The body of 36-year-old Hugo Hernandez was left on the streets of Los Mochis in seven pieces as a chilling threat to members of the Juarez drug cartel. A note read: ''Happy New Year, because this will be your last.''-AP
Hernández Ramírez was taken to Sinaloa after reportedly being kidnapped Jan. 2 in neighboring Sonora state, in an area known for marijuana growing. The motive for his abduction was unclear.
Although narco messages, kidnappings, torture, beheadings and mutilations between rival cartels are no longer headline news in Mexico, the case of Hernández Ramírez represents a new level of brutality in Mexico's drug war.
