A massive cargo ship is smoldering in Miami after it caught fire over the weekend.
The 200-foot freighter caught fire on the Miami River as it was carrying cars, mattresses and bicycles to Haiti.
A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesman says Tuesday that about 50 firefighters are still working to control the embers. Extinguishing the remnants has been difficult because the ship, called the Atlantic, was packed with goods.
More than 100 firefighters spent three hours Saturday night putting out the fire, which briefly rekindled Monday.
