Aramis Ramirez had two hits and three RBIs and Sean Marshall won his first game of the year and the Chicago Cubs rebounded from a final-inning loss to beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-1 on Sunday.

Geovany Soto hit his 15th homer and Derrek Lee had three hits and an RBI for the NL Central leaders, who took two of three from the second-place Cardinals and won for only the fourth time in 11 games overall. The weekend series was sold out with standing-room attendance of 46,752 for the finale.

Ryan Ludwick, selected for his first All-Star game earlier in the day, hit his 17th homer and first since June 11 for the Cardinals.
