This may sound weird but yes it happened, three days after a fire tragedy that has now killed 115 people, an object with the shape of the map of Kenya is found.
In search of more people who might have died in a nearby forest where the tragedy occurred, a container used by one of the fire victims to siphon the oil spill burnt and solidified forming the map of Kenya.
How would anyone explain this? A preacher who led prayers at the scene of the tragedy said this “was a message from God ” I still cannot comprehend this.
I am a concerned and worried Kenyan, the country has lost over 500 people to fire and road accidents in less than a month. Prophets of doom have it that even worse is on the way. Anyway that is them, I do not have to believe in their sentiments but something is wrong.
With 10 million Kenyans facing hunger, we are not at peace.
And as families of the victims bury their loved ones, we pray that peace be upon them.
The fire tragedy occurred on Saturday after a tanker carrying an estimated 42,000 litres of fuel to Juba in Southern Sudan overturned at Sachang’wan along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
