Luxury Hotel for Gay men to open in Mexico's Riviera Maya
A new hotel catering exclusively to gay men is set to open in Mexico’s Riviera Maya in January. It will be the first of its kind in the state of Quintana Roo.

"The hotel is uniquely for men. That is to say, only homosexual couples are accepted, it's not for women, although among our personnel we have heterosexual men and women and all have received specialized training to avoid having our guests feel uncomfortable or discriminated against," Patrick Lurenz said.
He said that another prohibition will be on men entering the hotel with minors.
Lurenz said that the Adonis Tulum hotel, the first establishment of its kind in the state of Quintana Roo, is now in the last phase of remodeling prior to opening its doors to guests in January.
He added that the Adonis is near the Tulum hotel zone, very close to the archaeological site of the same name and it has 94 luxury suites.
Lurenz commented that once it is up and running, the hotel will provide 100 direct jobs.
A similar hotel called OUT N.Y.C is planned to open later in the year in New York City. While the two business ventures are similar, they are unrelated.
