Latvian prime minister is injured in car crash

The office of Latvian Prime Minister Ivars Godmanis says he has suffered head injuries in a car crash in the center of Riga.
His office says he is being treated in a hospital for a skull fracture and concussion. It said his vehicle was hit Wednesday by a minivan with several passengers in the capital.
No other details were immediately available.
