kya mast hai life! no i don't think so.

kya mast hai life is disney's latest 'original' venture.a story about five inseperable friends in college who overcome problems and failures to become truly close friends. this show is rumoured to be the latest to rake in the moolah for disney. i simply cannot believe that. this show is another in a line of mindless done-to-death, run-of-the-mill shows that everyone has seen. let's start at the beginning. hip hip hooray was a trend-setter; everyone loved it!! then came just mohabbat which started out different, but soon took the same line. nonetheless a true script and good actors made it work. many more in between that i'm gonna skip. dhoom machao dhoom, a disney venture that spoke about college, bands, music, rivalry and friendship. don't they all? this was a moderate hit. preteens loved it, teenagers to an extent; parents found it ridiculous. and then we have kya mast hai life. the same old script with horrible actors is not really a good sell. the ludicrousness of the show is amazing. preteens have seen this before. teens refuse to believe that any of them say "coolio" or call themselves the "titlis". anyone i have spoken to have said that this could probably get the worst show of the year award though disney does have quite a few contenders for it. i know some may not agree but really, you have to sit down, watch one episode and really ask yourselves. do people actually get paid for this?
