The Chambal river is one of the deepest river and that particular area was under Crocodile Sanctuary, that's why even the environmental clearance from Wildlife dept, State and Central Govt took plenty of time and that's also on the condition that there should not be any pillar in between the river.
Hyndai and Gammon India have jointly taken this task to complete this bridge. The investigation is still going on to find the exact reason of collapse.
