Alexander Frolov, Tom Preissing and Drew Doughty scored power-play goals and Erik Ersberg made 24 saves in the Los Angeles Kings’ 5-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night.
Anze Kopitar scored an even-strength goal and Dustin Brown added an empty-net tally for the Kings. Kopitar, Brown, Frolov, Preissing and Doughty also earned assists.
Ersberg made his third consecutive start after Jason LaBarbera was in goal for each of the Kings’ first 10 games. Los Angeles has won consecutive games for just the second time this season.
The Kings are 8-5-3 over the past two seasons in games started by Ersberg, including 2-0-1 this season.
