Anthony Kim closed with a 5-under 65 Sunday to rally from a three-shot deficit and win the AT&T National, making him the first American under 25 to win twice in one year on the PGA Tour since Tiger Woods.

Woods, the tournament host, wasn’t around to see a display of golf with which he could relate.

The 23-year-old Kim is an explosive talent who seems to have finally figured out how to win, and he did just that at Congressional by emerging from a crowded leaderboard with a bogey-free final round to defeat Fredrik Jacobson of Sweden by two strokes.

Kim, who won earlier this year at the Wachovia Championship, finished at 12-under 268 and earned $1.08 million to move up to No. 6 in the Ryder Cup standings.
