Patna campus on December 25. This function was organized on the eve of the first anniversary of the ‘Kilkari’ Bachcha Bank (piggy bank)and Christmas to celebrate their grand achievement. Mr Sheth lighted the lamp in this function.‘Kilkari’ Bihar Bal Bhawan,
director Jyoti Parihar welcomed the‘Kilkari’kids.
“Bachcha Bank ,Bachcha Bank,Hamara Pyara Bachcha Bank ..” this song was echoing in the campus of ‘Kilkari’ Bihar Bal Bhawan,Siadpur,Patna.
‘Kilkari’ Bachcha Bank (piggy bank) is an unique bank, which is for by the children and for the children.It is a group piggy bank for poor slum kids.It was inaugurated by the CM of Bihar Nitish Kumar on the eve of Children’s Day in 2009.It’s manager and asst. manager are also kids.This bank was started with Rs 10 with only three children in ‘Kilkari’ Bihar Bal Bhawan, Saidpur,Patna.Now there are more than 500 members of this bank.Every member has it’s own passbook with his name,photograph and residential address.It’s banker is State Bank of India.Now there are about 2 lakh Rupees in this bank and Rupees 3 lakh 15 thousand has been transactioned during one year.This bank is boosting responsiblity and self confidence for better life style.This achievement was celebrated as First‘Gullak'(piggy bank)Annual Day in Patna with the fervour of Christmas.
Child artistes of ‘Kilkari’ Bal Kendra presented musical cultural program on this occasion.‘Kilkari’ young trainer Manish Kumar was honoured with Best Trainer Award and Jitendra Kumar was honoured with Most Committed Trainer Award in this function by the guests.
