K-Fed celebrates his birthday with sons and Shar Jackson

While Britney worked on her dance moves in Los Angeles, Keven Federline was in Las Vegas over the weekend with the kids and his ex Shar Jackson. The occasion: K-Fed's 29th birthday celebrations.

Kevin arrived in Sin City on Friday afternoon, with sons Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 6 months, in tow.

The ex Mr Britney Spears checked into lavish Caesers Palace, where he spent the remainder of Friday lazing around in a VIP cabana at Caesars' Venus Pool Club.

The birthday festivities commenced on Saturday night with Federline (who turned 29 on March 21st) having dinner at Social House, dining on Asian fare with 14 of his closest friends and family by his side.

A source tells PEOPLE.

He was talking on the phone and texting the whole time.

Later Kevin made his way to Caeser's Pure nightclub, where ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson was present.

A source says

As soon as his parents got to the club they immediately went to Shar's table on the other side of the club and hung out there for a while. They were taking photos with her and catching up. It's pretty easy to see that they still care about her.

Drinking Jack Daniels and having a good time, the well dressed Kevin hung out in his VIP box all night, waving to the crowd.

At 2.30 am, Shar Jackson returned to the Federline table, to dance with his parents. Federline then grabbed the mic, says a source, and said to the crowd:

My entire family came out for my birthday. My brothers are here, my mother, my father, my sister and even my ex Shar Jackson came out for this.

The merriment finally ended at 4 am, where Kevin retreated to his palatial 4000 sq-ft suite.
