Just A Kid's Game: Turkish Mayor Says They "Sorted Out" Rape And Murder Of Toddlers By Other Kids
In 2009, eight kids ranging from the ages of 11 to 14, in the city of Pervari in Turkey, systematically raped a little 2-year-old boy, and a little girl aged 3. They then proceeded to kill the 3-year-old girl and attempted to murder the little boy. And what did the locals do about the heinous crime? They tried to cover up the events and, according to the mayor, İsmail Bilen, “We sorted out the incident among ourselves.” Apparently, rape and murder is no big deal in his town; it's something children do all the time. At least that's what he made it sound like, when he uttered the following statement after nationwide condemnation once the allegations surfaced:

“This was a child’s game. This was something 7- or 8-year-old children do. Pervari is a small place and we are all relatives. When I said we sorted it out I mean we did it with our local administrator, prosecutor and police,” he said.
It probably would have remained a secret between "relatives", had it not been for another equally hideous case of child sexual abuse. For more than two years seven children at a boarding school were abused by 'local elders' and no-one did a damn thing.
And even though the both of these cases have come to light, not much has been done against the perpetrators, yet, other than a few firings in the case of the boarding school.
No case has been opened about the allegations yet, as the forensic report of the murdered child has not yet come to the prosecutor’s office. Only three children were arrested for the event but they were later released.Meanwhile, the Education Ministry said Wednesday that on April 29, 2009, they sent two inspectors to the province. As a result of the investigation, the substitute principal, and two deputy principals of the boarding school where the alleged abuse occurred were removed from office, the ministry said.
On the other hand, the governor of Siirt, Necati Şentürk, talking about the allegations of rape against the students in Siirt, said among the seven girls in the case, two pairs of them were reported to be siblings, and the family of two sisters has been taken under state assistance. “We will economically aid the family for three years and provide social and psychological support,” Şentürk said.
As for the sick pups who raped the toddlers, and the even sicker mayor's claims that it was just a child's game, sorry, rape and murder is not a 'game' that normal kids play. I don't know of any sane 7 or 8 year-old who would think it fun to go out and rather than play 'hide-and-go-seek', decide they'll rape and kill a toddler instead. Certainly not when I was growing up. Those kids need to be punished and get psychological help at the least, before they go out and play 'kill and rape the toddlers' again. The mayor, and all the others who covered up the whole event should be punished as well. It's a sick society that thinks something like that is normal.
