A Bahamas jury has determined that Anna Nicole Smith’s son died from an accidental drug overdose and is recommending no criminal charges.

The seven-member jury deliberated less than two hours before returning the verdict Monday.

The inquest began in November to determine what killed 20-year-old Daniel Smith.

The son of the former Playboy playmate died in September 2006 shortly after he arrived in the Bahamas to meet his new baby sister, Dannielynn, who was born in a Nassau hospital.

Police have said there is no evidence of homicide. An autopsy found that Daniel likely died from a combination of drugs, including methadone and antidepressants.
