The actor got angry when a scribe asked him why Dabangg is being emphasized to being released on Eid when Ganesh chaturthi is at the same time!
Salman Khan is known for having his tryst with the members of the press in the past but, off late the actor has surprised everyone with his friendly attitude towards the media. However, he almost had a show down with an over enthusiastic journo today during a Dabangg promotional event at Nagpur, when he asked him why Dabangg is being emphasized to being released on Eid when Ganesh chaturthi is at the same time! Salman apparently got so pissed off with the question that he absolutely refused to comment and showed the door to this journo. Co-star Sonakshi Sinha came to Salman’s rescue as she explained to the press, “It’s absolutely unfair to ask Salman such a question. You should know that Salman’s father is a Muslim and his mother, a Hindu. Using religion for such an issue is disgusting,” Sonakshi clarified further that had it been an Innocent question Salman surely would have answered but the intention was wrong! The actress later even posted her anguish on a social networking site, she wrote, “Just to create controversy or raise TRP’s, using religion is disgusting. When will these guys grow up and see the broader picture?”
Apparently, an Eid release is said to have been lucky for Salman and that is why the producer, Arbaz Khan has slated an Eid release for Dabangg. Last year, ‘Wanted’ released on Eid, which went on to become super duper hit.
