Today is the 282th Birhday of Jaipur. Forts, palaces, architectural marvels and tales of valour, all in their own way, bear testimony to the glory that Jaipur is and was just after it was conceived by Sawai Jai Singh in 1727. Located 262 kilometers from Delhi, jaipur was the first planned city in northern India. Jaipur is known for its rich culture and heritage. Traditions are always followed by Jaipur. Amer, Nahargarh, Govind dev temple, city palace, Birla mandir, Albert hall, Hawamahal says the story of its beauty and makes tourist hot spot. Markets in Pink colour makes the Jaipur a different city in the world. As far the traditions are concern we can see the sawari of TEEJ, Gangour are followed from the time of King Sawai Jai Singh.
But now in these days Jaipur faced some unexpected and horrible activities. A Jaipurite cannot forget the evening of 13th may when Jaipur faced terrorist attack followed by serial bomb blast. Bofore some days there was a big fire in Sitapura IOC depo. But Jaipur give a answer to all problems. Jaipurites helped victims and suffered people. Even they give the blood and money to needy people. Jaipur gets stand and gives a smile to all world.
From the rich heritage and culture Jaipur is not back in todays modern atmosphere. Jaipur has a wide range of hyper malls and multiplexes. EP, Cristal Pam, Cristal court, Gourav tower, Tritan Mall etc. World trade park will also be a big business tikoon. It is expected that till 2013 Jaipurites will tour in Jaipur Metro that project is on process.
Again I would like to say a very happy 282th birthday to pink city Jaipur and hope that Jaipur metro city will be a shine on the world map.
