Israel's Ex-President Is Sex Pervert
Shimon Peres never tires of being a buffoonish patronizing so-called statesmen. Who does this guy think he is always lecturing the world about this or that or "Khamas" or "Terrokhism".
And Peres wants to lecture Arabs about women's rights at a time when this is going on in "Israel":
Israeli prosecutors will indict former President Moshe Katsav on charges of rape and indecent assault, the Justice Ministry said. . . . The rape charge arose from a complaint filed by a woman who worked for Katsav when he was tourism minister from 1998 to 1999. Katsav stepped down as president in January 2007 after Mazuz said there was evidence to indict him on charges of rape, sexual harassment, fraud and breach of trust.
But Peres uses the opportunity to deflect from Israel's disgrace by lecturing Arabs: "The struggle to improve women's place in society is a global issue and I tell our Arab neighbors – your main problem is not Israeli domination but male domination." What Chutzpah!
The Arab world isn't more male dominated then most other societies, just take a look at what a British study revealed about British men:
"One in seven people believe it is acceptable in some circumstances for a man to hit his wife or girlfriend if she is dressed in “sexy or revealing clothes in public”, according to the findings of a survey released today. A similar number believed that it was all right for a man to slap his wife or girlfriend if she is “nagging or constantly moaning at him”. The findings of the poll, conducted for the Home Office, also disclosed about a quarter of people believe that wearing sexy or revealing clothing should lead to a woman being held partly responsible for being raped or sexually assaulted."
Peres is just trying to deflect attention from Israel's sex-crazed president, Arab leaders are grotesque but I do not believe any current one is as deranged in their sexual habits as the former Israeli president.
But you may retort that Israel has secured more advances for women than other Arab nations, because, after all, Israel elected a women prime minister. Yeah, but that was only because everyone thought old Golda was a man.

He ... or I am sorry, she ... loved to smoke a pack a day. It helped her relax after a day of killing Palestinians.
