Israeli Foreign Minister To US: We Call The Shots!

POLITICS. .

Oy, what to do when the client state has been so spoiled by the patron that it begins to believe it can call the shots? Like a spoiled brat who begins to dictate to his parents the Israeli foreign minister, far-right racist fanatic Avigdor Lieberman, recently scolded the United States, Israel's sole ally of consequence and $3billion-a-year patron.

Lieberman's beef is that the Obama administration is rudely incessant in its pressure on Israel to cease illegal colonization of Palestinian land and to attend to serious peace negotiations.

Lieberman opposes a Palestinian state and prefers to ethnically cleanse - or "transfer" to employ Zionist propaganda - Palestinians, including citizens of Israel, in order to further impose Jewish supremacy on the land. His solution for the remaining Arabs is that they should sign a 'loyalty oath' to Jewish supremacy.

The former club bouncer has no pretense of democracy. Recently telling an American magazine, Newsweek, that democracy for him is not minority or individual rights but simply whatever the majority wants should be done even if it transgresses on the rights of the powerless minority. Think of the callous obliviousness necessary for a Jewish individual, for all people, to make such a statement when Jews have often suffered under such a rubric when Western societies simply operated under the same premise of might-equals-right instead of individual rights which are not held suspect to majority rancor. Lieberman himself may have been a victim of antisemitism as a Soviet Jews when the Christian majority prohibited Jews from leaving. But now the Jews are the powerful bloc so such atrocious beliefs okay in exercised on behalf of the 'chosen'. Lieberman is a Putin-esque thug.

And he lives in a settlement, btw.

So he recently offered this bit of chutzpah:

In an example of dialectical thinking run amok, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has turned the strategic logic behind the patron-client state relationship on its head. He has "threatened" Washington that unless it supports his radical Zionist agenda, Jerusalem would ally itself with another global player that would supposedly be willing to prop up a militarized anti-Arab Jewish Ghetto in the Middle East.

But why would the European Union (EU), Russia, China, India or Turkey be interested in hooking up with a state that brings into the marriage a dowry in the form of the animosity of the entire Arab and Muslim worlds and the prospect of being entangled in dead-ended peace processes?

To think of the nerve of a client to threaten its patron, as if Israel is doing the United States some favor instead of being a constant headache and the source for so much anguish for America amongst 1.6billion Muslims. This person has become to delusional in his fanaticism he thinks the relationship is assbackwards: that it is America that needs Israel to survive. And as if any other nation is keen to take up the mantle of pouring billions into an arrogant and intransigent brat. But why wouldn't he? After all U.S. politicians have fed this Israeli ego through decades of pandering.

This mentality of hubris only precipitates the further isolation and demise of Israel.
