During Israel's most large-scale offense against the Palestinians of Gaza, state-sanctioned Rabbis urged Israeli occupation troops to kill with impunity and a clear conscience all Palestinians because the Palestinians were just intruders on the land that God gave to the Jewish people.
The generals were just as blood-thirsty:
A senior commander who briefs his subordinates upon entering Gaza and tells them they must “bring back 2,000 terrorists,” instead of defining the rules of engagement, should not be a commander in our army. The same is true for a commander who warns that “we’re going to kick their ass, to rape them, and to screw them” or for a commander who tells his soldiers “not to be bothered by moral questions; you’ll deal with that later.”
And Israeli occupation troops followed orders by killing over 900 civilians, of whom over 400 were children. They destroyed entire homes and factories for no purpose except those that arise from sadism. They wrote bigoted words on the walls of Palestinian homes and left feces in refrigerators. This is Zionism and this is Israel.
This is not just the military or a few Rabbis, this is the society of Israel. One could at least before speak about a peace movement in Israel, but that is dead. Israelis now are majority hateful, bigoted, supportive to indifferent toward the killing of Palestinians, and supporters of the far-right.

If these people have knowingly made false statements to deliberately damage Israel's reputation then Israel should sue them. A few of these guys in cardboard boxes would teach these people a healthy respect for the truth.
