Is there anything wrong in politics?
It has been reported in Times of India, “Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) state unit President Madhukar Pichad on Saturday suspended party MLA Dilip Wagh, from Pachora in Jalgaon district who is accused of raping a 22-year-old woman.”
The party has also faced similar situation when former minister and NCP MP Padamsinh Patil was arrested on the charge of murdering his cousin and Congress leader Pavan Raje Nimbalkar in 2006. Patil is facing the case and out on bail.”
These are nothing new. We are accustomed to such crimes. Everyday we read in newspapers and form an impression that nothing can stop this on-goings. Justices is often delayed and the impact of such cases gradually becomes light.
We have bitter experience about such misdeeds. Right from the police station to the respective court there is every chance of manipulation. And, as a matter of fact, in most cases corruption get rid of the charge brought against him or her.
Better, let us take things easy. What’s the use of disturbing the peace of mind! In the world of politics when there is nothing wrong, why shouldn’t we be broad-minded? In the present scenario “Live and let live” has a different meaning. We are to accept everything, possibly, in diverse perspective.
