Is Teenage Pregnancy a Disease?

All generalizations are wrong, except this one – all teenagers are stupid.

In New York alone, 40, 000 teenagers from the ages of 10 -19 will be pregnant this year. Out of that number, 80% will be unintended pregnancies.

Why is the Center for Disease Control and Prevention keeping data on teen pregnancies? Is teenage pregnancy a disease?

According to the CDC, one-third of women in the United States become pregnant by the age of 20. A sexual active teenage girl has 90% chance of being pregnant.

But ask any teenage girl out there and she will tell you it cannot happen to her.
