Is Recession Really Over?
As the whole world knows, the global recession that arrived in the year 2009 has hit the companies badly. Even though it was the impact of the USA recession, our country has adversely affected, especially the IT companies. However, the situation in India was never as worse as in America, for people were getting jobs and the companies were recruiting them to some extent, despite of the worst market situation.
Today, the question is, what is the current market scenario, in regards of the global recession in 2009? Is the impact of the recession still there or has it vanished? Of course, it can’t be vanished totally, it should have some impact even today, in terms of revenue. No market can come up in such a short period of time. But in the same way, no market can remain down for such a long time. We can say that the market is beginning to recover after one and a half year of global recession.
Ever since the United States of America was adversely hit by the recession and since India started to feel the touch of this global recession, the Indian market has been deteriorating continually, the economy being shrinking. Moreover, the companies which were “not so badly hit” by the recession too starting experiencing the fear of it. However, the situation is certainly not as worse as it has been so far. People are getting job security with new vacancies creating in the job market. But, at the same time, the market needs to open as there are unemployed people hunting for a job. So, even though it is appreciable of our economist to handle the situation and goodwill of the market to get into the better position till date, the country still needs time and money to get totally out of the recession.
In a glance, it won’t not be wrong to say that despite the fact that the recession is over, there is no doubt we're still experiencing difficult times. This is because a recession's impact lingers for months - and sometimes years - even after its end has been declared.
