The TMC councilors are likely to be disinterested from the very beginning. It is quite predictable how the welfare mission will march ahead. As a whole the development of the Corporation will be in jeopardy.
To counteract this awkward situation Miss Mamata Banerjee declared in a mammoth gathering huge opportunity for her followers. Disappointment has been diverted skillfully. The Railway Ministry is, indeed, her paternal property as it was previously with Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar. However, she can easily distribute her capabilities; there is no wrong. Since independence all the Central and State ministers are accustomed to do likewise. As a matter of fact, Mamata happened to be the King of kings, there was no difficulty in making any commitment. The only dilemma is: the stagnant water will soon get polluted since the entire Corporation will pass through utter helplessness and undisciplined.
No, in the meantime and onwards often foul play will shadow the game. Knowingly different kinds of mischief will be in progress. Each party will make the most of their respective interests. Such acts are inevitable. Will mutual understanding change the course? Everybody would say: Do in Rome as the Romans do. No politician is expected to lead a saintly life. Leave it; it’s all past. Let us look forward and be optimistic regarding alliance.
A political party is as good as a joint family or a society where both good and evil will go side by side. If INC is condemned for breaking tie, TMC is to blame for Mamata. Being in the corridor of power, in the name of protest is she supposed to do what she has already done? She thought least about their relevance in the perspective of the whole of India.
Then Mr. Burnard Shaw, your scoundrels are all intelligent enough in the nick of the moment. And intelligence is the only yardstick to measure the depth of every progress. Of course, it has to be brought about prosperity. In view of total benefit, the result will be exclusive. Sincere and honest Mamata will act according to her sweet will not only for Siliguri but to secure strong hold for TMC in North Bengal. Jeopardy in and around Siliguri Corporation will soon collapse. Ultimately who will gain, please?
