Is it time for China to discourage ‘one child’ policy?

It’s been almost three decades China implemented the 'one child policy'. The very move to curb the increasing population resulted in gender imbalance, female feticide, less young work force, aged population…However, the Chinese Govt. has realized the gravity of the situation and have relaxed the one child policy allowing (depending on the condition) some couple in Shanghai to have a second child. So, is it the right Chinese move at the right time? Should China end one child policy?
