Is Inflation a Policy to Solve Population Growth & Poverty

POLITICS. .

Is ‘inflation’ the policy to solve the problem like population growth and poverty? You know why I am asking such a silly question; this is because of our governments so called policy for ‘development’. You see, since our independence our government's promise before election "mahangai dur kareange" (we will reduce Inflation) but in spite of fall in the inflation, it’s increasing with each passing day.

Today inflation rate is 19.5%. With the price hike in daily food product like rice, wheat, pulses and vegetables, hike in fuel price and hike in fare, is it fair to do with poor people? Govt. is giving salary hike to its employees but no concrete steps have been taken to help improve the condition of poor which is deteriorating everyday. And on the other hand, Govt. is benefiting the rich by reducing the price of computers, cars and luxuries as these items are for people with fortunes and has nothing to do with reducing the burden of the common man.

You just take an example of a daily wager who is earning Rs-100 per day; it’s really difficult for him to arrange three time meal a day because of the daily use food products’ price hike. Govt. never thinks about how they will survive in this situation. It seems that Govt. thinks and plans for the upper class people only as basic needs of the lower strata of the society is never ever was a matter of concern for them.

Please, think about the poor people who cannot afford needs and face a tough survival. At last I would like to ask this question to our govt. is it the right policy to solve population growth and poverty? What you want to do is ‘na garib rahega, na garibi rahegi, ager garib nahe rahega to desh ka 60% abadi khud-wa-khud khatm ho jayegi’ (that means kill the poor people to solve population growth and poverty). In this way India will become a problem free developed nation.

Is this your motto behind price hike, please for god shake spare us and our nation. We people don’t want such development, where poor needs to sacrifice their life for the development of the nation. Leave us as we are. We don't want progress; we want to live our life.
