A Rape that Never Was
Rape is one of the inhumanity actions and it is accepted as a crime in any country and in any law. Also in our religion Islam it is totally prohibited and a person does rape is called sinner and it has a its own punishment in Islam. As Afghanistan is an Islamic country and the government should follow the rules of Islam here so that they can stop crimes here.
As it is clear that the rape cases are increasing day by day in every country the same thing Afghanistan is one of those countries where the rape cases has been increased in last years of Karzai’s government.
Last year in Afghanistan we had about 60 rape cases which have been reported to Government and about the other rape cases that have not been reported to government because of people’s modesty and other personal problems we can’t figure. And this 60 has been the highest rape cases in history Afghanistan and most of these cases have been conducted against children between the ages of 4-14 years in north provinces of Afghanistan.
Lots of these rape cases have been conducted by the powerful people in provinces against whom the local people can not do anything. The people who ware raped have said that they have reported their cases to the government, but still the government has not done anything against them only some of those people who conduct rape ware arrested by people and they ware released very soon no one had followed the Islamic rules human rights rules on them.
The people who have been raped has also said that the people who raped us were released by government soon and they gave us warning that they will kill us and now we can not go back to our provinces and the government also doesn’t support us even some people claim that most of those criminals who conduct this wild action were released by special order of Hamed Karzai, but the government didn’t say anything in this regard.
A few months ago a report of rape came through media for us that a girl has been raped in Bameyan province of Afghanistan and after 5 months when she has been pregnant her mother and brother tore her stomach, took out the baby from there and then sew her stomach back with the tailoring needle which caused much health problems to her and then the medical department of Bameyan transferred her to Kabul.
We have seen that lots of children in the small ages have been raped, but both the government and human right organization didn’t do anything for them. One of the reasons that the rape cases are increasing here is that there is no punishment for those who conduct this wild action. If the government imposes rules on them and punish them then we are sure that no one will conduct such wild action and we also don’t know that why our government doesn’t do anything against them. Are they afraid of human rights organization or the people who conduct rape are supported by powerful organization that they government can not do anything against them.
As we see some points, in fact the human rights organizations support them to do such actions because a few months ago when the government of Afghanistan arrested some of the criminals and hung them, the human rights organizations gave warning to Afghanistan to stop hanging people because it is against human rights and this point encourages the criminals to do what they want.
As the government has promised that they will arrest those criminals who conduct such wild action and punish them so we will see that will Afghanistan turning to a rape heaven?
