Iran to go ahead with its nuclear program
Perhaps, the North Korean nuclear test has again triggered the arms race, especially in Asia. In its latest statement, Iran has made it clear that it would go ahead with its nuclear research and development program despite objections from the UN. Tehran presses again and again that its uranium enrichment program is moving ahead under surveillance of the International Atomic Energy Agency and the nation aims to generate electricity out of it, however, the west is not ready to accept it as true and strongly believe it as a camouflage to create more nuclear weapons.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Ali Hosseini, stated:
Iran will continue its research and development activities which are in the framework of the NPT (nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty).
U.N. Security Council is working on to draft sanctions against Iran and Iran too is planning to halt the IAEA's routine inspections in case sanctions come into force.
The IAEA's negative report is beyond acceptance, particularly when Iran is still three years away from developing a lethal nuclear weapon and its current program aims to cater nation's energy needs. UN needs to penetrate and understand more of a nation's aspirations towards as serious a issue like that of nuclear armament, instead of imposing sanctions and overlooking Iran's right to go ahead with the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Truly, UN has failed to that effect and is no doubt inviting more trouble.
