“Indo-vation” for Rural India
I have added a new word to my vocabulary “Indo-vation”.
Mr. Piyush Mathur speaking at the business conclave of the ‘Goafest 2010’ used this term and said the future of rural marketing depends how much FMCG can penetrate this segment apart from the points, he did mention about calling all the 28 States as one entity etc.

“Indo-vation-Innovation happening on the streets of India” be it automobile segment or future trade openings in Agriculture markets. New ways to address these segments and othere emerging trends are to be watched with lot of interests.
“Indo-vation” applies to techniques developed at home and in villages for various applications like the one with some ‘jugad’ technology for mounting a diesel engine and make it to work as mobile van to cater to the needs of village transportation.
But there are trends which also need to be carefully taken note of like production of artificial milk by using fertilizers, paints, chemicals etc. Manufacture of fake medicines, use of colors for greening the vegetables and enhancing the size etc can all be combined for legal scrutiny/actions besides so many other inventions of geniuses of rural India . Size enhancers got attention of the Women for better projection of their statistical data, but can not be qualified for in general fields.

Special attention is needed from the Police and Administration in around NCR wherein this industry is fast flourishing since every one is running to become rich over night.

‘Indo-vation’ has to be kept in check for some time for its bad usage.
