Indian Man Found Burnt on Australian Rural Road
The partially burnt body of 25-year-old Indian student Ranjodh Singh was found alongside a rural road south-west of Sydnen.

The death of Singh came just days after the Saturday stabbed killing of another Indian student, Nitin Garg in Melbourne; whose death was described by the Indian for minister SM Krishna as a "heinous crime on humanity."
Such hate crimes against Indian students in not uncommon in Australian and the Indian foreign minister has called on the Australian government to combat the "uncivilized [and] brutal attack on innocent Indians."
The Indian government has advised Indian students to take precaution - such as avoid walking alone at night: "The ministry of external affairs cautions Indian students who are planning to study in Australia that there have been several incidents of robbery and assault on Indians in Australia, particularly in Melbourne, which has seen an increase in violence on its streets in recent years, with the offenders suspected to be mainly young people in their teens and early 20s."
The Australian government responded in a self-righteous and offensive - given the death of two Indians in less than a week - manner. The Australian acting foreign minister Simon Crean stated that Melbourne is safe and that: "[Melbourne] is not the only place that deaths happen. They happen in India. They happen in Mumbai. They happen in Delhi. It's an unfortunate fact of life."
The minister made it seem as if this was a typical murder, which, of course, exist in many cities. But it was not. It was a hate crime against an Indian for being Indian, and Indians have been repeatedly attacked by racist, skin-head Australians. The minister's refusal to acknowledge the bigotry in Australian society and that this death is about broader problems in the nation is incredibly defensive, smug, and an affront to decency.
Australian has one of the most vulgar nationalist governments (and societies) that was actually designated as "racist" by the United Nations in 2000 (the only Western nation with that stigma). The country has seen violent riots against native Arabs in recent years, and Australian society whitewashes the colonial disposition of the Aborigines.
They refuse to even see the problem, let alone being to address it. An arrogant society.
