I opted for self-employment b'cause I was never satisfied with the Indian system of Hiring and Firing (They need false degrees more than experience: You can get an MSCE for just INR 10K. Or you may create one on Photoshop yourself. Nobody needs your experience. Anyways thats a different issue!

Coming to PayPal blocking transactions involving India, the first thing that came to my mind that it must be Obama. Not b'cause I have any prejudice but because this came just two days after Hon' president's speech wherein he said that he won't like US to stand next to India...

Finding PayPal reluctant to divulge information, I asked several Indian Govt officials as well as media to look into the matter. Though none of the Officials responded, HeadlinesToday, a leading TV channel responded thus:

"Suspension of certain transactions may continue for long but local bank withdrawals will soon be available".

I could not understand the last portion. What does local bank withdrawals mean as far as PayPal is concerned? When asked, the TV channel said it was transactions where both sender and receiver is an Indian.

When I again asked why so, who is behind all this, and is it not racism, HeadlinesToday replies:

"PayPal will continue to block personal payments to & from India as it is working on questions posed by the Indian regulators"

Taken aback?

This is what the Indian leaders do. They won't help people in re-defining the economy but will sure create hurdles if you wish to grow on your own. While the larger KPO and BPOs won't suffer, it is us - who are still in the startup phases.

I am posting it here so that everyone else also knows that PayPal's decision was not in any way affected by Obama's speech nor did Obama used any pressure tactic.

It is the Indian leaders who created all this - leaving millions of Indian Freelancers, telecommuters, and aspiring entrepreneurs stranded.

I am getting a strong hatred towards the Indian culture (and politics) that once I was proud of. Now they are getting into the way of my own ambitions as well as my fellow aspirants.

What will I answer when people NOW ask me about their dreams through my website? Ask them to forget their dreams or leave India if they want to live happily.

The day I get my passport, I will be out of India - it is no more a place where humans can survive or any dream can come true (except if you are willing to be a criminal - you'll have a good scope in politics where you can enjoy on heard earned money of fellow Indians).

When Obama said he will scrap the tax cuts on US companies that outsource jobs, he was concerned about the employment scenario in US. But what did the Indian govt do? Axed on the aspirations of people willing to stand on their own - without asking the Indian Govt for help?

PS: For fellow Indian writers and aspiring Indian entrepreneurs, if you want to raise capital - do NOT ever approach Jawahar Rozgar Yozna unless you wish to pledge 40 per cent of the loan to the officials as bribe.

This is highly disgusting; BUT I SURE WANT EACH AND EVERYONE TO KNOW HOW INDIAN GOVT WORKS TO CREATE HURDLES AT EVERY STAGE OF LIFE - Right from Birth to Death. And I will post this all over the Internet this evening, no matter how many Indians turn against me as in the YSR death case.

Dunno how to say - but still, ALL THE BEST to all ASPIRING Indian FREELANCERS and ENTREPRENEURS. Find your way out and if you get any ideas, feel free to contact me. Time to brainstorm for our own Dreams, w/o Indian Govt's interference!
