Incredible India or Inefficient India
India – A Name or a Concept ?
India ready: for games or for embarrassment?
India: A secular nation or a fake democracy?
The land of mix culture, language, where there is a wide variety of people. A country known for its intelligence , hard working cadre, a land of brave soldiers, a large tourist spot for many with many delicious food and now a technology hub for the world , with mushroom number if IT companies in India we can think of saying our land is one of the nations which is about to make a mark on the world. We say it our India as Incredible India.
I would still hesitate to call it Incredible India rather than Inefficient India, with large hardworking cadre we still are among Developing nations and the continue to be called for many years. I am not blaming my country but telling the truth.
The main reason for our failure and will remain because our inefficient administration system, the statement is overstated keeping our country but a close look will prove my point, consider the example of our government architecture, a common error is overstaffing with more number of employees required creating chaos and poor administration, huge sum of money being spent in their salary and pension, the government is facing huge deficit.
A common feeling regarding government job is, once got it is considered to be permanent making them lazy and irresponsible, where as in private sector this kind of felling never takes place thereby maintaining a healthy working environment. With corruption adding the flavour to gravy making the condition even worse.
The much talk about Indian Railways being considered as case studies in some big B-Schools is just a mild victory but projected as a huge leap, Chinese Railways started much later than ours but now is way ahead than India, the maximum speed for Indian rail is 150 kmph where as for them its a healthy speed, still the working employee uses traditional tecnology for working.
If any thing is to boosted about is our IT industry IT-Giant like Infosys, Wipro have now made a strong impression, but the story is gloomy these days , with Satyam creating a black hole.
I am not in a position to give a solution. I have only question in my bag, the basic rule for creating an efficient system is to create managers at each level, in my views the central govt. should be at the highest level, with state govt. giving it support, but here some policies are governed by central and some by state.
I guess there is a need for some change if we need to get on the fast track.
