Incessant rains may play spoil sport: CWG 2010
Delhi is receiving especial attention from Lord Indra ‘Rain God’. May be he is landing a helping hand to all agencies involved in organizing Common Wealth Games at Delhi. Well, what ever it is, we should welcome the rains at least now that we can not do any thing as this would avoid water scarcity in and around Delhi and also it will help scientific community which were crying from the top of the world for converting Delhi into a jungle of concrete and making this change responsible for environmental changes. It may generate a new debate to find out what happened this year in particular so that rains were there a plenty?

CWG 2010 may not have smooth sailing and Delhi may not look so nice to foreigners this time. But our efforts to beautify to new heights should stop even after the games. In fact the hard lessons learnt should be used to clear put of problems what Delhietes faced during these times.
A wider perception is growing that some new ideas are required to be put in place for traffic management as roads of Delhi have become very difficult to drive on. It may sound little odd but why Govt. is not considering total ban on movement on entering heavy duty trucks during the period games will be on. Some more things like blanket ban on use of private transport on certain roads.
I am for all and would say that our Delhi is much better now and will be a better place to live in.
Delhi will have some proud possessions after the games and we should use this infrastructure to strengthen our sporting activities and cultural events on world scale. Festive mood in Delhi is still to set in which will make this great city a good host.
We should always look forward CWG as a great event and it should do proud to India.
