I Love You Dad

Like every other daughter, I too love my dad so much and I guess a dad and daughter share a different relation as compare to others.

The warmth and care of this relation is more deeper.

Today is father's Day and I took this chance to express my love to my dad who lives far away in Manali a beautiful hill station in himalayas. He is a deep thinker, writer and traveller.

We hardly communicate but whenevr we talk or exchange emails or messages, they contain deep emotions.

I want to tell something to my dad today. Almost everyday I get dreams about him. Dreams...where I am wandering in mountains and forests holding his hands. He is a great nature lover and his dreams are too full of beauties and greenery. The dreams are so enchanting that I started waiting for those dreams about him.

I can be myself in those dreams..a lil girl who loves to walk with his dad along the sea or on hilly roads.

I am in love with my dreams dad. I know the reality is not so beautiful. I am entangled in my worldly responsibilities and professional-personal life. Altime I pretend to be a good balanced professional lady. but somewhere inside, I am still that young girl who was born in kinnaur, the mountain region in India, snow covered valley and high hills. I got the chance to see this beautiful world because of you. I inheritated your virtues of loving nature and interests in deep literature.

Dad, if I say that I love you. That is enough and not enough too. Words kill the feelings.

So, I would choose to be silent. Hope my silence could convey you "Happy Father's Day, You are the best dad!"
