Hezbollah Intercepts Footage of Israeli Spy Planes
Hezbollah demonstrates its capabilities against Israel.
It a news conference that was carried live for 2hours by al Jazeera and greatly impressed the Arab world, Hezbollah's chief Hasan Nasrallah demonstrated to the public that the Lebanese party-cum-militia has intercepted footage from Israeli spy planes.
Israel has long been monitoring Hezbollah from above with spy planes in order to 1) identify its bases and 2) to monitor the shipment of arms from Iran and Syria. Israel could easily fly its planes over Lebanese air space, but purposely decides to violate Lebanese sovereignty in an effort to demoralize Lebanon (such is part of the silly and transparent Zionist war propaganda failing to recognize that all this in the end will be met with vengeance). But, perhaps, Israel erred big time in doing so and maybe such close proximity it what led Hezbollah to intercept Israeli signals.
During the last 2006 war, the Israeli military itself reported that Hezbollah was able to intercept Israeli on-ground army communication. This new ability to intercept the footage - so Hezbollah knows what Israel is trying to film and what Israel has captured and can adapt - has raised the ante and offers evidence that Hezbollah is no longer - and for awhile has not been - the rag-tag group of Shiite fundamentalists which Israel used to dismiss.
And Hezbollah has certainly - and intentionally - raised its profile in the Arab world.
Such is the humiliating embarrassment for Israel that the ostensible "only democracy in the Middle East" has issues a military censorship to block the Israeli press from reporting this coup. The Israeli press has mentioned the speech by Nasrallah, but they have consistently failed to mention this incredible detail detrimental to Israeli security and military advantage.
Hezbollah has taken the lead, in its own way.
