Hamas' Al-Aqsa Children's TV Show Glorifies Martyrdom
There's something particularly sick about watching a children's television programme promoting death. But that's exactly what Hamas' Al Aqsa TV continues to do with its children's tv shows. A few years back, the Mickey Mouse clone 'Farfur' purveyor of hate, was killed off by 'nasty' Jews in the final episode. Even though Hamas promised to keep the show off the air, the show was re-upped and the hate messages were transferred to another human-sized stuffed animal. On January 22, 2010, "Tomorrow's Pioneers" aired an episode where shahada (death) is something children should aspire to. A young caller phones in and tells the host that she wished for shahada during the 2009 Gaza war. The others are visibly proud that this young 10-year-old would want to die for Allah, no mention of the fact that along with killing themselves they would be guilty of murdering others. Any culture that condones and encourages their young to become suicide bombers, glorifying terrorism, is sick. No wonder the Palestinian situation is a no-win situation.

The following is a transcript of part of the show. The video follows.
Host to girl on phone: “How was it for you during the [Gaza] war [2009]? Were you afraid that you would die, that you would leave this world?”
Girl: “No. I wasn't afraid. I wished for Shahada (Martyrdom) --Shahada for Allah.”
Host: “How wonderful. Even this little girl - how old are you?”
Girl: “Ten.”
Host:”[She] is not more than ten years old, and wants to die as a Shahida (Martyr) for Allah. We all wish for this [Shahada].”
